Support for 34 orphans because of COVID-19

PNO – In the morning of September 2, the Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union in collaboration with the Social Work Fund Heroes of the People’s Armed Forces of Phan Trong Binh donated funds to support the care and nurturing of 34 orphans in the city, with a total budget of 204 millions VND (6 million/part)..

At the scholarship awarding ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Hoa – Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union – expressed her gratitude to businesses and sponsors who have accompanied the Association in supporting orphaned children due to disease, helping them steady on the path to study and become good citizens in the future.

Those who are not present at the program will be awarded scholarships at home

Accompanying the Association in many activities, Ms. Pham Thi But – Chairman of the Founding Council of Phan Trong Binh Social Work Fund – shared: “I hope you have a lot of energy and determination to overcome difficulties in life. Parents have passed away, but you still have many parents and godparents to take care of, so you must always strive to study well, cultivate morality, and deserve to be the future owners of the country. That is also the thank you for those who have helped you”.

Previously, on September 23, the Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union also awarded 42 scholarships (20 million VND/person) and 20 scholarships (2 million VND/person) to 62 orphaned children.
